Health & Fitness Data
What health data we collect
When you use the 8 Week Transformation Challenge app, you may choose to connect your device's health platform (Android Health Connect or Apple HealthKit). If you grant permission, the app may access the following categories of health and fitness data:
- Activity: workouts and exercise sessions, activity summaries, step count, active calories burned
- Body: body weight
- Sleep: sleep analysis and duration
- Nutrition: calorie intake, protein, carbohydrates, total fat, water consumption
How we collect it
Health data is only accessed through the official Android Health Connect or Apple HealthKit APIs, and only after you explicitly grant permission. You are in full control - you can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's health or privacy settings.
Why we collect it
We use your health data solely to:
- Display your fitness stats and progress within the app
- Track your activity and body metrics throughout the challenge
- Personalise your experience and provide relevant insights
We do not use health data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your fitness journey.
Who we share it with
Your health data may be processed by Terra (our health data integration partner) solely to retrieve and sync data from your connected health platform. Terra acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
We do not sell your health data. We do not share it with advertisers, third-party marketers, or any other parties.
How long we retain it
Health data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your health data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
